BIO

Lina Nour is a Print Designer who primarily works with hand-based processes such as silk screen-printing, collaging, and hand-dyeing fabric. She is a graduate from Central Saint Martins and The Royal College of Art, where she was awarded the Sir Frank Bowling scholarship.

Often inspired by her own personal experiences as a second-generation immigrant and her Sudanese heritage, Lina’s practice is rooted in the exploration of contrasts. Her playful prints explore merging the old with the new, and the traditional with the contemporary.

Lina also values travel as a source of inspiration, and utilises the opportunity to engage with diverse contexts and cultures to create meaningful prints that celebrate cultural exchange and storytelling.
