BIO

Lina Nour is a Print Designer and Textile Artist, primarily working with hand processes such as screen-printing, collaging, and drawing. She is a graduate from both Central Saint Martins and The Royal College of Art, where she was supported by the Sir Frank Bowling scholarship.

Often inspired by her Sudanese heritage and environments she has lived in within the UK, Lina’s practice is rooted in the exploration of contrasts. Her playful prints merge the old with the new, and the traditional with the contemporary.

Lina values travel as a source of inspiration, and utilises the opportunity to engage with diverse contexts and cultures to create meaningful prints that celebrate cultural exchange and storytelling.
