BIO
Lina Nour is a Printed Textile Designer. She is a graduate from Central Saint Martins and The Royal College of Art, where she was awarded the Sir Frank Bowling scholarship. Lina aims to design prints that are personal and authentic, primarily working with hand-based processes such as drawing on paper, hand dyeing fabric and silk screen-printing.
Her practice is rooted in the exploration of contrasts, merging the old with the new, and the traditional with the contemporary. Lina also values travel as a source of inspiration, and utilises the opportunity to engage with diverse contexts and cultures to create meaningful prints that celebrate cultural exchange and storytelling.
